Research experience
Studied the influence of prenatal testosterone and progesterone in development
of limbic system structures, involved in spatial learning and memory;
Identified that soluble proteins in the brain tissue are increased in different lobes
in the male and female rat by prenatal treatment with testosterone;
Determined the neuroprotectivity of steroid hormones by influence of superoxid
dismutase and glutation peroxidase activity, in the brain tissue from temporal and
frontal lobes;
